Included are corner designs for handkerchiefs, scarves, and napkins; designs for towel ends or scarves and borders of all kinds and sizes; an Italian runner for living or dining room; nursery accessories; an afternoon tea set; a dresser set; church medallions and ecclesiastical edgings.
Motifs include alphabets, sentimental sayings, silhouettes, sailing ships, soldiers, baskets, bouquets, birds (especially peacocks and parrots), and other animals.
Published in cooperation with the Center for the History of American Needlework, this inexpensive book is a versatile and attractive collection of designs for needleworkers and collectors.
