Style Patterns Ltd. was established in the United Kingdom in 1937, though the “Style” brand identity familiar to collectors today did not emerge until decades later. The company registered its trademark in 1970, marking the formal launch of the brand.

In 1986, Style secured trademark protection for the Australian market, ensuring its designs were legally recognized there. While the brand originated in the UK, its reach extended internationally, with Australia becoming a key market. By around 2016, the Style brand was discontinued.

For international correspondence, Style Patterns Ltd. used the address 200 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10016 — the same building that housed the headquarters of Simplicity Sewing Patterns.
